STRIKE OF GDS – NO FORCE ON THIS EARTH CAN STOP NATURAL REVOLT AGAINST THE
ONSALUGHT:
HEADING TOWARDS 7TH DAY TOMORROW-
DEMANDING EQUAL TREATMENT FOR EQUAL WORK. ALSO TO STOP THE ILLEGAL ACT OF
DISCRIMINATION.

Comrades,
Reports of
Dharna, Rallies and Naked show of GDS in various parts of the country is
reaching CHQ. Mysore, Udupi,Mandya,
Hubli/Dharwad, Karwar, SIRSI, Puttur,Bagalkot,Nanjangud and other part comrades
of Karnataka are exhibiting vehement protest against the anti GDS attitude of
the department/Government. They are also
forcing us to agitate TILL RATIONAL SETTLEMENT IS REACHED.
Today also
many MPs have telephonically contacted Hon’ble Union Communication Minister Sri.Kapil
Sibal seeking immediate intervention to resolve GDS issues.
In fact in
the DEMOCRATIC form of Government like India there should not be any scope for LAWLESSNESS
and STRIKES. But STRIKES, THAT TOO
INDEFINITE STRIKE like this is forced on the GDS today.
Organise
massive demonstrations, Rallies and processions tomorrow at all important or
divisional head quarters so that yours voice is heard at DELHI.

IS UNIQUE – IT IS THE EXPLOSION OUT OF FRUSTRATION AND ILL-TREATMENT!
KNOW THE
FOLLOWING – HOW BUREACRACY INTERPRET L(gist of discussion held with highest level officers, Directorate.)

OUR VIEW: GDS are working more than the prescribed duty hours and
norms and there cannot be any reduction in their TRCA.
·
OFFICERS VERSION: This is old
system of assessment of workload cannot be helped. Let new Pay Committee take
care of this!

Our view: Since all GDS are working more than 5 hours there is need
for regularization of their service in the dept. Information obtained under RTI was furnished
where a good number of GDS work for 8 hours and more.
·
Their view: Not empowered to consider- take up with next pay
commission. The RTI information needs to
be verified!
The above examples reveal the mindset of the
officers who are reluctant to appreciate reality/TRUTH. We have to seriously think about it and work
ways and means to change it. Time is
ripe now to decide BE READY FOR ANY SACRIFICE.
