Sub:           Draft Terms of Refference for the GDS Committee

Ref : 1)      Your Lr.No. 17-13/2013-GDS Dated 28-11-2014 / 01-12-2014.

2)      Our Lr.No. GDS/CHQ/68/2/2014 dated 24-11-2014.

Respected Madam,

This union is very much thankful to invite comments / suggestions on the proposed terms of reference prepared by the Department for the GDS committee.

There is ambiguity in the letter No. 17-13/2013-GDS dated 28-11-2014 / 01- 12 - 2014 whether the Department is going to appoint Officer Committee/ Judiciary Committee for GDS.

This union is requesting to clarify the doubt mentioned above.

We have already requested the Department to constitute a one man committee under Chairmanship of a Retired Judge of the Supreme Court or High Court to honour the agreement signed between this union and member (P) on 21-02-2014.

This union hopes that the Department will appoint a one man committee under Chairmanship of a Retired Judge as early as possible for GDS. Otherwise we are compelled to initiate a serious trade union action including indefinite strike.

We submit our comments / suggestions on the proposed terms of reference prepared by the Department if the Judiciary committee will be appointed.

A line in reply is highly appreciated.

 Yours Faithfully
