Subject:-  Comments and suggestions on Draft Notification of proposed recruitment Rules issued vide letter No. 37-33/2009-SPB-I dated 13-12-2017.
Sir,

1.        Column 6(ii) Regarding age limit
          The age limit for appointment of Gramin Dak Sevaks should be enhanced from 45 years to 50 years (Relaxable for those belonging to scheduled caste or scheduled trabe up to five years and for those belonging to other backward classes up to three years.

2.        Column 7(i) Regarding Educational qualifications.
                Column 7(i) should be modified as shown below.
             “10th standard pass from a recognized Board.”

3.       Column 10 (iii) (a) should be amended as shown below.
          25% by Direct recruitment on the basis of competitive examination limited to Gramin Dak Sevaks of the recruiting postal division, who have worked regularly for three years in that capacity as on the 1st day of January to which the vacanc(ies) blong to or as per the guidelines issued by Government of India from time to time.

          25% by direct recruitment on the basis of seniority cum fitness from amongst Gramin Dak Sevaks of the recruiting division, who have worked regularly for five years in that capacity, as on the first day of January of the year to which the vacancy(ies) belong to or as per the guidelines issued by Government of India from time to time. The same modifications should be taken into consideration for Mail Guard posts.

Comments and suggestions on Draft Notification of proposed recruitment Rules issued vide letter No. 37-33/2009-SPB-I dated 13-12-2017 for the post of Postal Assistant in schedule.
               
I.     Column 6(ii) regarding age limit column 6(ii) should be amended as given below.
             The age limit for appointment of Gramin Dak Sevaks should be Fourty Years as on the 1st day of January of the year to which the vacancy(ies) belong to or as per guidelines issued by the Government of India as per gidelines issued by the Government of India from time to time (Relaxable for those belonging to schedule caste or schedule tribe upto five years and for those belonging to other Backward castes up to three years.)

2.             Column 10(i) C should be amended as given below
                By direct recruitment on the basis of competitive examination limited to Gramin Dak Sevaks of the recruiting division who have worked regularly for three years in that capacity as on 1st day of January of the year to which the vacancy(ies) belong to or as per guidelines issued by the Government of India from time to time.


3.             Column 10(ii) should be amended as given below.

                20% by direct recruitment on the basis of competitive examination liminted to Gramin Dak Sevaks of the recruitment division.

                30% by direct recruitment from open market as per the scheme approved by the Department of posts from time to time.
